1st Week in Jersey: Recap

June 27th, 2008 by Neal Locke

Well, we’ve survived a week here in Princeton, and it hasn’t even seemed that difficult (yet).  Of course, Summer Greek hasn’t started yet, tuition bills and grocery bills and other bills haven’t found their way to our new address yet, and we haven’t really looked inside all the boxes stacked against the walls yet.  Still, [...]

Audio Files — My Last Sunday at Faithbridge

June 24th, 2008 by Neal Locke

It’s been several weeks now, and I meant to do this sooner, but here are the audio recordings from my last Sunday at Faithbridge: My Last Sermon — and my least prepared one at that, too.  I haven’t listened to the recording yet, so let me know if it comes out ok. Shine For You [...]

Liveblogging GA218 from the Wrong Coast

June 21st, 2008 by Neal Locke

But we hit it off long before we each independently [...]

Tried To Leave Texas But Didn’t Quite Make It

June 16th, 2008 by Neal Locke

Today was day one of our one-way trip to a new life in New Jersey. The plan was to leave Frisco bright and early this morning, but as I explained numerous times today (in answer to the inevitable “You’re still here???”) for the Locke family, “bright and early” means any time before the sun sets. [...]

Preaching…and Farewell Frisco

June 12th, 2008 by Neal Locke

This Sunday I’ll be preaching my last sermon at Faithbridge Presbyterian church, strapping on my guitar to sing my last songs with the praise team, and saying my goodbyes to all the people who have been part of our lives for the past decade. Then Amy, Grady, Abby and I will climb into our incredibly [...]
